Do you find long-running titles intimidating or harder to get into?

For me, it's not really a problem (fortunately); it's more about whether I'm in the right mood to start a title. I recently started the Sumire no Tsubomi series, and I plan to move on to Hoshi no Oujo after I 100% complete it. Usually, these series just require a bit more time; once I start, I find it easier to keep going. In rare cases, though, I lose motivation due to the plot and get bored halfway through, which makes finishing them take a lot longer. I'm dealing with that right now with Temirana (sobbing): I started it, played two routes, paused to play Sins of Kaleido (which I've already finished), and now I need to go back to it.

I get that. I've played Hakuouki, but I haven't played all the games. There's just so much content that it can feel a bit overwhelming. I don't mind long series but when there are too many sequels and fandiscs, I feel like I have to play all of them so I keep putting it off.

I never truly felt about the length of franchise this way.
I just get interested in such titles because there are a lot of content. I played only Starry Sky from franchises you mentioned and I quite liked it. So I would just say, I understand the possible interest in them

Yes, because I often have this desire to want to play things in the "right" order, even if it's a series that is only loosely connected haha.
