Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

i usually go for the 100% just cus it feels nice. bonus if theres a photo for completing everything. i like doing every characters good and bad ending and normal if there is one, but if all the mini bad endings dont have a tracker then i dont do all of those since they be kinda boring

I usually aim for 100% completion, but with otome games that have random events, like the Angelique series, I know I can just reload until they appear. The problem is that I get lazy, so I often end up leaving those games at around 85%.

Sí, si no lo hago, siento que me estoy perdiendo algo importante. Incluso busco en sitios web muy recónditos para encontrar una guía paso a paso y asegurarme de tener todo completo 😭

I have OCD, and if I don't finish the game, I always feel uncomfortable in my heart. When I play a game, I will complete it 100%. Focusing on a game, I will collect 100% of the character routes, game CG, and game endings, and then save and backup the game's archives. This will give me a great sense of achievement.

Almost never? In favor of good end and usually skip all the "not prefect" ends which is far from 100% complete. There are some games that locked the "perfect" ends for one or more subjects that force people to complete "bad" route, tried those games and not enjoying the bad routes at all.

I usually try my best to 100% complete everything. But if the bad, good, and best endings don't have much of a difference story-wise and only the very end changes slightly, I just watch the best ending and skip the rest.

Most people do, yeah. It just depends on whether the game is interesting or not. Some games actually make you feel sleepy. But if you're into it, some side endings or bad endings are really fun! And since visual novels have a skip/fast-forward feature, getting 100% completion is pretty easy.

I only try to 100% the game if I enjoy it and if it has a good skip function! If I enjoyed the game, it's fun to look for more details the devs put in the game.
I enjoyed Birushana a lot and wanted to 100% it, but it was a tad bit annoying to complete sometimes it would lag so much during the fights. Thankfully it had a function to skip to the next choice/chapter. Honestly wish more games had that feature!

Yes, I always complete an otome game 100%. I like to have it complete and I collect the CGs, no matter how boring or hateful the route is to me. The only case in which I wouldn't complete an otome game is if my feelings or heart weren't strong enough to do a bad ending. For example, in Mystic Messenger I haven't been able to finish its CGs because my heart wasn't strong enough to do the bad endings, or also if the game were difficult, then I wouldn't be able to complete it.

I only play the routes of characters I like, if i need to complete a route to unlock a new route/ending I just use the skip option and use a guide

I like to take it easy when it comes to game completion in general simply because I'm just doing this for fun, but when it comes to story, I have the need to see every single bit of story the game has to offer to me, so I definitely tend to 100% visual novels. The only time I wouldn't do that is if the game is so boring I have to drop it and move onto something else, but fortunately this has only happened once.

In a few cases. Of course, I always try to unlock every route, but later on, some content and settings get too repetitive, and I get bored, so most of the time I complete about 80-90%. It's only for a few scripts I really like that I go all the way and finish 100%.

I feel like an outsider now after reading your answers lol

I mostly play the route of the LI I like and that's it. I feel fulfilled.

I don't have the time to waste with 100% a game anymore, especially if the other LI/routes don't interest me.

Don't care about the achievements either.

Damn, maybe I'm getting old :ninja:

It depends. Generally, yes, but if I don't really like a route, I just skip it (if there's a button) and that's it. If I can't skip it... well, I'm not going to make myself miserable playing something I really dislike... Unfortunately, I often spoil things for myself because it's happened to me many times that I've bought a game and only liked one route... I'm not going to pay full price and not enjoy everything. (Unnecessary expense)

absolutely yes! But if I have some free time. Bcs I need to see all CGs for each LIs and especially when the story really absorb me so 100% need to know all routes and world-building ect

I definitely used to back in the day when I was still a student and had free time. sadly now that i work full-time, if a game doesn't fully grip me / i don't like some of the characters, i won't touch their routes. Its a shame, I really used to be a 100% weapon. Genuinely can't remember the last time i 100% finished any game

Yep, I tend to play all the routes for all the characters. Even when the protagonist's route is involved (which is quite rare these days; the most recent one I saw and played was Jack Jeanne). There are rare cases where I end up liking a character more and others where I feel the opposite. I can't play just one character's route; I feel the need to always play all the characters' routes (even when I don't like them).
