I have previously made a post about downloaded files being damaged, either because the reupload was damaged beforehand or incorrect packing.

But I would love to know if any of the staff or mods have run in to similar problems.

I tried downloading this file http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/...-ji-kara-5-ji-made-no-koibito-vol-1-a-860070/

and it was damaged when I tried to open it with winrar. See the SS damaged rar file.JPG

Or does a bug damaged files after being uploaded ?

Any help solving this problem is appreciated :)

The file being damaged is defined not only by pre packaging on the uploader end but also your connection, ram, cpu, hdd/ ssd . Also any rar file should include a minimum of 3% RR

But isn't it odd that the same file from different sources also are damaged ? if the DL was hanging underway I could understand, but a DL that proceeds without a hitch shouldn't be imo.

Hello,

Cases like these, if it's not your internet connection or HDD, then you should try one of the mirrors offer by the uploader. FYI, I've tested the Rapidgator links and everything works out fine.

Thanks for the info. It seems to be the winrar that is old. I downloaded CBR reader and it can read one of the files.
