did otome games/anime adaptations get you listening to more japanese music?

I was already deep into v-kei, vocaloid and utaite way before I started playing otoge, so not really. But it got me into listening to character songs. I still haven't played any of the DiaLovers games but I can sing most of Kanato's songs and duet songs by heart.

It's not exactly because of otome games, but I've always loved J-pop and J-rock, and anisong too—though there are definitely some singers in otome games that I really like.
