SUMMARY

Maki Juri, a famous actress, asks Mouri Kogorou for help. It is to guess the true meaning of Kaitou Kid's preliminary announcement that he is going to steal her star sapphire ring, "Jewel of Fate".

Kogorou predicts that Kid will appear on the final day of the public performance of the play Maki Juri is in, and that he would rob the star sapphire during the play. The party of Kogorou, Ran, Conan, and The Detective Boys, who had been invited to the play in order to confirm whether a crime would take place then as Kogorou predicted.
