Most otome games let you change the name of MC, but have you considered putting in something other than a name? It can completely change the tone of the game. For example, say there's a line that goes:
"Hello Angie, what do you need?"

Want the LIs to sound more submissive? Name MC Mistress and voila:
"Hello Mistress, what do you need?"

Want the LIs to be more flirty? Name MC Cutie or Gorgeous and you get:
"Hello Cutie, what do you need?"
"Hello Gorgeous, what do you need?"

Want the LIs to insult you? Name MC Idiot or Bitch and it becomes:
"Hello Idiot, what do you need?"
"Hello Bitch, what do you need?"

It's been years but I'm still annoyed by that
