Yes. I watched the same thing. xD

Although, I knew about her through Gundam SEED first.

Watched the International Channel for Slayers and to watch the Taiwanese drama, MARS.

Yes~

Ayumi Hamasaki is what skyrocketed my interest to keep being updated in music.

Downloaded any song she released and tried to purchase her albums.

Her older songs are highly recommended since it showcases her modest in yet strong passion.

She sings well now, but those older songs are too good to ignore... at least to me.

Some might not like her voice or composition.

I find her endearing at times and her lyrics 'speak' to me. lol

haha they showed Slayers, Lost Universe (love the intro song for that i can still remember it <3) J-Pop music night, and whatever looked interesting.

Me and renano had an Anime childhood only few knew about i guess :goodtea:

I somehow remember this very old Mecha anime that my uncle recorded on a VCR. but it's been recorded over and I can't remember the name now. Any idea what it could be?
 
My childhood was filled with Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball.

hmm...it definitely wasn't Mobile Suit Gundam since I've seen it before. The animation was much better than that of Gundam in its early years as far as I can remember. Not sure if it was a mecha on Toonami or not as I remember the mascot but the channel happened to be in French.

The anime was in JP dub but French subs. Couldn't understand anything no matter how hard I tried.
