Character Birthday Celebration Thread

[yumachan]

This thread is a birthday party venue for characters.
I wanted to create a permanent space where we can all celebrate our favorite characters on their birthdays.

Whenever it's a character's birthday in your time zone, please come to this thread and leave a comment to celebrate them!
(Even if you're a little late to the party, feel free to celebrate them!)

Think of this as an ongoing birthday party. Whenever your fave's special day arrives, come join the celebration!

Happy birthday, Kojiro Saeki-October 1

I am grateful to the author for their flexibility in allowing the release of an *otome* game based on a *shonen* manga.

Fun fact: He has light brown hair in the manga and games, but silver hair in the anime.
In the anime, he is depicted as Fuji Shusuke's childhood friend (however, this is not depicted in the original manga).

Happy birthday, Keigo Atobe-October 4
＊∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..∴..＊

I wasn't a huge fan of him at first, but as I got to know his character and human side, before I knew it, I was completely head over heels. I am grateful to the author for their flexibility in allowing the release of an *otome* game based on a *shonen* manga.

Fun fact:
There's a wonderful story about Keigo Atobe and one of his fans that I want to share with overseas fans.

In August 2023, an Atobe fan posted on X that she was getting married.
Her post caught the attention of Takeshi Konomi, the creator of The Prince of Tennis.

And then, just a few hours later, Konomi-sensei replied with an illustration of Atobe dressed in formal wedding attire, wearing a blue rose on his chest.
So, in a way, Atobe really did make it to his fan's wedding.

It was such a beautiful and unforgettable moment—and a perfect example of how Konomi-sensei turned one fan's wish into something truly special.

Happy birthday, Yushi Oshitari-October 15
○-○ ○-○ ○-○ ○-○ ○-○ ○-○ ○-○ ○-○

I am grateful to the author for their flexibility in allowing the release of an *otome* game based on a *shonen* manga.

Fun fact:
He wears non-prescription glasses—which is unusual for a character who wears glasses—and the reason he wears them is that he is too embarrassed to show his bare eyes. The author once described Atobe and Oshitari as 'Hyotei's sun and moon.'

The translation might not have been perfect.
I hope his charm comes across well!

Today is Erwin's birthday .
Erwin was a brilliant commander who make the word 'sasageyo' stuck to my head (lmao).
He was the first fictional character I ever cried so hard for. His struggles, sacrifices, and the dreams he had to leave behind broke my heart in ways I never expected..

The official X account for 'Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side' also put up a post today celebrating his birthday.
Even though more than 20 years have passed since the game's release, his charm remains timeless.

I am grateful to the author for their flexibility in allowing the release of an *otome* game based on a *shonen* manga.
