Howdy! I'm unsure if this is normal because I'm new, if it's a glitch, or if I'm doing something wrong, so I figured I'd ask! Apologies if I've overlooked a FAQ.

In my profile settings, I did the following:
  • I added my birthdate, set it to not display the month/day
  • Inputted some of my favorites:
    • Anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena
    • Manga: The Summer Hikaru Died, CLOVER
    • Games: Slow Damage
    • Musicians: BAND-MAID, Foxblood, Written by Wolves
  • And added the following to my bio:
    "Primarily a lurker (probably).

My hobbies are taking photos of my cat, being overly enthusiastic about my ships, tamagotchis and having way too much stationary!"
Is there an issue with any of this I'm overlooking? I get the following message twice which makes it seem like two fields got flagged, but it doesn't specify where the issue is:
Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator.
I'd rather not try to hunt down the problem if it's a matter of waiting a bit or something.

Thanks!

Hello, If your account is new, the anti-spam system is more sensitive to what you put into your profile. Just post some more and try again

Since I had this issue myself, I should say that in my opinion it is not that the anti-spam is sensitive, but that as a new user you simply cannot use this function.

I couldn't save my profile even if I only added number 1 to description and literally nothing else. I wish the forum would just tell you that you need to become active, instead of throwing a random error.

Checkpoint's reply is the solution here regardless, but I found it frustrating not knowing what the problem was. I'm mainly posting this to clarify if someone else comes across, but also perhaps it's something that could be improved upon? I'm not sure how limiting the forum software is.
