Hi, I'm new here. But, I have a problem and there are not enough answers to it.

I'm trying to play an H-game made by Tinkerbell. I followed the installation instructions, got the patched exe., and used AlphaRom. But, whenever I start it, I get "C,system has stopped working", it stops responding and closes. I don't know what's wrong?

I have Windows 7, I'm in Japan Locale, I have DirectX 9c.

It would be awesome if someone can help.

Possible to post a screenshot of the exact error?

If you've not gotten this error on any other game you've run then the issue may be with the game itself.

If you're running AppLocale and still getting the error maybe you're on x64 and need to run the program in compatibility mode?

Dunno really - just throwing out suggestions.

Same issue, same developer, maybe even the same game. Anyone know what the problem is? I tried running the game in an emulated 32bit windows 7 with Japanese locale, still the same error as on my win10.

I had a similar problem when i upgraded from windows 7 to 10 with all my tinkerbell games, try reinstalling it without using the patched exe and just use alpharomdie, see if that works.
It also seems that some people solved the problem by reinstalling dx9

Btw, remember to install 淫妖蟲 凶 ~久遠の姫巫女~ as well, it adds a second part to the game =)

I have tried using all variations of the patch and cracker, patch only, crack only, patch then crack... All end up with the game giving me the same error. Reinstalled directx as well. I'm starting to think that it's the version that I downloaded that's the problem.

On my virtual win7, I'm also getting a directx error before the message that I'm getting on my windows 10, but that could be due to the emulation.

I'll try adding that second part, see if that works.

P.S. In the patcher/cracker, I have to select that it's not a RealLive or Siglus engine, right? I've been trying both, but I'm getting the same result either way.

Thanks for the recommendations anyway.

Have you also tried reinstalling the game from the setup? I selected nothing in alpharom, left all unchecked.

Just installed the addon and the small standalones. All give me the same error. This has nothing to do with the installation, it seems, all the files and registry entries are there. I am baffled.
I tried using all variations with the patchers, ticked and unticked, nothing worked so far.
The only option now it seems is to try it on a different PC, though I don't know why it doesn't work even in a virtual OS. The virtual win 7 (32 bit), Japanese locale, gives me a directx error about fonts even though I did install directx 9.0 that came with the game. I even dled a version of it from microsofts page, still the font error.
Man, this is driving me crazy.

EDIT: It works on my laptop. Not a single problem, even though my PC and laptop both have Win10 64bit, both updated. This is insane.

EDIT2: As a final option, I'm gonna try using that "reset" option in Settings, maybe that'll do something. But not right now.

Man, win10 sometimes is really weird...
Let us know if you can solve the problem, it may help someone else in the future.

This... this is what they do to people in hell, right? They give them a simple task that seemingly has no solution, and they spend hours working on it, breaking their minds. And then they install a font pack and it works.
After resetting, windows started installing stuff and one popup got my attention. I would still be banging my head over this if not for that.

Sigh... Anyway, the fix: Under windows 10, go to Settings>System>Apps & Features>Manage Optional Features>Add a Feature and then install "Japanese Supplemental Fonts" from the list.

Unfortunately I discovered this only after I reset my windows, could have spared myself the trouble. This also fixed several other games as well.

It seems that for some reason, after an update almost a month ago, windows decided to uninstall that font pack or something. That's just great. Terrific.
What a waste of my god damn time. I just hope this solves someone else's problem in the future.
