Buying otome games for Switch - how to choose??

Thank youuu! I think I like your approach. It's thorough and helps with learning about different sides of the game. Plus, this way you can probably find something unexpectedly good for yourself since you're not cutting yourself off of the content out of your comfort zone. Nice!

I have bad otome game purchasing habits to begin with, though. Maybe because when I wanted to play otome games the most when I was younger, there basically weren't any available in English, I bought basically all of the early otome switch games (and LEs) when they began to be localized into English to support the industry, so they would localize more otome games for us to play.

It really feels like there's one English release after another right now and I'm so happy about that! All of this because people like you didn't give up on otome
It's interesting to see how your needs in otome games gradually change. The "otome phases" are so familiar to me too haha.

You can watch a prologue or something first to see if there are any characters you like. Since otome games usually don't have complicated systems, I think it's similar to playing a demo.

And about OCR translation - true!! But I hate OCR so much haha, I hope I just learn enough Japanese to read freely, eventually.

My favorite collectibles, since they are collectibles, I definitely like them all haha! I am very happy to collect them. Looking at the collections in the display cabinet every day is really fulfilling.
