Are you liking the idea of MC with voice or MC stay unvoiced?

I am fine with either but I lean more towards voiced MC. I don't self insert so having a voiced protagonist actually makes the game more immersive for me. It honestly is weird for me when every major character in the game has a voice and the MC is the only one without one. I am fine with R18 heroines being voiced, the only thing is the moaning is super awkward to me

I personally learned more towards voiced MCs just because I think I perceive the MC as a separate being from me and as a character that I get invested in! I want to hear about their stories and backgrounds and I think having voices for them just makes them feel so much more full as a character!

I much prefer unvoiced because most of the time they end up sounding lowkey annoying to me personally even though I don't even do self-insert.

I tend to turn off the MC's voice because I prefer to immerse myself in the game when playing otome games. However, for those MC with more distinctive personalities, I might accept the voice?

I also prefer unvoiced heroines. Jack Jeanne has a voiced heroine which I didn't mind since the story is all about acting and their stage performances, but for normal otome games, I don't think I'd turn on the MC voice, since I'd like to read at my own pace and do self-insert.

i'm fine with either, though i do think i lean more towards voiced. i play otoges and vns in general for the plot and don't self insert at all, so having her be voiced feels more immersive to me (as contradictory as it sounds lmao) to connect to the characters from an outside point of view.

as i always say to my friends: i will gladly sit in the cuck chair in whatever situation, but if we can make it better, then might as well do it wwwwwwww

I love voiced Heroine Soo muchhh aaaaaaa, it sad there's no voiced Heroine nowadays unless it's old series of Otome-game

I dont really have a preference, but it would be cool to at least have the option. This way the players who like or dont like it, can toggle it on/of.

Do you like MC from vn/otome game to be voiced or unvoiced? Personally i prefer them with voice, it feels like the MC is blend in with the story and the interaction flow with other character inside the game and i do hope that commercial game like VariBari with the voiced MC is happened again in the future. Since usually around 70% voiced MC is only happening in adult otome titles only.

I think otome heroines with voice would be great alternative to that we don't have that much voiced heroines :)

i don't self insert and see mc as her own character, so hearing her voice is fine to me. it's also helps with immersion. but it doesn't bother me when she's unvoiced too, so either is OK!

Hmm, I've played a few games where the MC was voiced, and it really depends on the voice. Some were great, while others... not so much. The first time I heard a voiced MC, I was like, "Wait, that's a thing?? That's so cool!" It's pretty rare, though. I don't really mind either way, unless the voice is annoying.

It really depends on the voice of the MC. I have sensitive ears, I end up with headaches if the MC has a high pitched voice, which is most of the time. So I tend to turn it off of allowed.

Mmmmmh…i'm so used to the heroines having no voice at all that sometimes it just surprises me to see some having..especially bc i never look up for any info when i start a new otome game…so when i started bustafellows and heard the mc having a voice it really disturbed me back then..i even sometimes just muted her voice..but now i played many that are like that !! ( and i used to self insert myself alot compared to now ) so it doesnt bother me much!! I kinda like it

I wish some MCs had voices, like the MC from Lads at the beginning of the game! Sometimes I feel strange because everyone has a voice while they're talking, but when the MC starts talking, everything just goes silent... The sudden silence while she speaks is so strange, even after playing otome games for years I still feel this slight strangeness.

But I think if the MC is going to have a "childish" and annoying voice (like Orihime from Bleach... I honestly love her but her voice is so annoying sometimes), it's better for her to remain voiceless! After all, I'd like the MC to have a deeper/slightly husky feminine voice, something "sensual," but I know they would surely give most MCs in otome games a soft, moaning, and even "childish" voice🫩
