While I love high-tension, dramatic, spicy drama CDs, I've come to realise my secret weakness is quiet domestic everyday scenes.

Nothing major happens, just being taken care of. Like when you're sick and they quietly fuss over you, or they hug you to sleep, or just whisper sweet stuff in your ear. Ugh. Peak comfort. Doesn't matter if it's R18 or SFW. I'm here for the warm fuzzies 🥺

One of my all-time favorites is RJ255883. It basically has no plot at all. It's just a sleep-aid ASMR where your boyfriend, who missed your birthday because of work, feels guilty and gently cleans your ears with a cotton swab. His voice is soft and warm enough to knock me out within minutes. I've replayed it so many times that it's basically my comfort blanket at this point lol.

Another thing I'm secretly obsessed with is cooking and eating together scenarios. Something about food sounds and someone enjoying a meal just feels so cozy and happy to me. But I rarely find stuff like that... Does anyone have recommendations? I need more of this in my life 😇

I totally get what you mean!! Sometimes the simplest domestic moments are even more romantic than the dramatic ones. There's just something so comforting about a character taking care of you or doing ordinary everyday things together. It's those little moments that make a relationship feel so real and intimate..

If you like ear cleaning, lots of kisses, I would recommend RJ01465185!! The ML is super sweet and he'll make sure to put you to sleep!

Ooh I know this series! I really enjoyed vol.1. Mondo Ash's lazy Kyoto accent during ear cleaning, plus those tiny secret kisses... it makes a lovely intimate everyday-boyfriend vibe. Perfect for sleeping.

Aikawa Keisuke is one of my favourite seiyuu too, so I'll definitely check this one out soon! He's got a mesmerizing voice.

I dont mind listening to fluffy everyday CDs, but imo the high stakes, dramatic and plot focused cds just feel more satisfying to listen to. Its hard to find these kinds of cds in the r18 section but the few that exist are SO GOOD, i love a mix of action and drama mixed in with snusnu time. And its so much more interesting seeing a romantic relationship develop amidst all the drama and chaos, and eventually after the plot is resolved we get to indulge in some satisfying snusnu time, omd its just soo much more rewarding and cute

Oh I get that feeling! I enjoy plot-heavy CDs as well, they're thrilling. You can see the relationship develop naturally through the plot and learn so much more about the LI. It really just depends on what mood I'm in that day, whether I'm ready for a big story or just need something low-key to unwind.

It feels way more fulfilling when the romance builds through hardships first, I agree. I wish there were more well-written plot-focused R18 CDs like that too 🤗

ABSOLUTELY YES slice of life with your boyfriend type of asmr drama cd is also my favorite. Usually I like listening to drama cd that have intense story but, there is also a time I want to rest and relax. Being taken care of or just being pampered are nice, ooh and I LOVE it when they have a specific track where we sleep together and just listening to them breathing beside us

Yes yes yes! You read my mind. I'm so glad I found someone who feels the exact same 🥰 Sometimes all I need is that pampered vibe. And I always get so excited whenever a CD comes with that bonus sleeping audio, it's such a sweet little extra. Just hearing his steady breathing next to me makes me feel so safe.

I listen to that when I feel I'm a bit tired of my favorite themes.
Healing CDs take my mind off what I love and that help me freshen up!

Ahh 哀川佳介's voice is so soft and healing by itself already, I have wishlisted so many of his works 🙈

I have a recommendation and would like recommendations too~
It's very plot heavy with a little excited yelling (I can still fall asleep to it), but veryyy domestic and features cooking!

I'm not familiar with the mama genre, but in this one you've hired a guy to cook and don't want his other services 😂, all you want is someone to cook and clean, and you call him mama and ask him to act like a mom because you miss your mom back home. There's no baby talk. It's a very cute and sweet story (and funny at parts) and I think 片桐良一's voice is very soft~~

There's a second one where you've become a couple and it's more domestic cute stuff (I may have cried at the end 🥹).
