hello!! just to clarify - would getting distinguished rank be enough for downloading? also can i make requests for brand new games (and wait sadly till i can access huehuehue)
also how many messages in a day count as spamming? if i log in 2/3 times a week and send like 9 messages a day, would that be enough to approve me in two weeks (theoretically?)
thank you for all the clarification!!
Recognized, Distinguished and Elite members have the ability to view individual threads; however, if the Uploader restricts their content to Otome Members only, you will still be unable to access it. The decision to impose such restrictions lies with the Thread Creator or Uploader.
You can send an unlimited number of messages without it being considered spamming, but there are some caveats:
1. If your messages are short and consist of copy-and-paste phrases like "I think so too" or "I agree with you," they will be counted as spam once you exceed a certain threshold. Avoid copying and pasting long messages that lack meaning, as they will either not count at best, or at worst, will result in a deduction of points for spamming.
Don't even think to cheat this - you can try copy paste something really long from chatgpt, and really generic like all the spam I see everyday you're certainly going to get heavily punished for this. I warned this countless times and still members are asking me why they got deranked. Play stupid game, win stupid prize.
2. If your messages are meaningful, that's a positive action and will be counted. However, there is a cap on the number of meaningful messages you can send in a 24-hour period. Once you reach this cap, you will not gain any additional points. This limit is in place to prevent members who have just joined from advancing too quickly by sending 50 positive messages a day.
3. If your messages are extremely useful, you will gain access to a fast-track path. The Fast Track allows you to progress in rank at more than double the speed of the normal path, but it is limited to exceptional contributions such as writing popular guides, tutorials, posting exciting news, or uploading something unique.
But even fast-track path has some guard rails built-in to prevent abusers.
