Suggestion Add "Order by" to the search pop-up window.

Could you consider adding an "Order by" option from advanced search to the search pop-up window? I'm not sure how in demand this idea is, but I constantly have to go into the advanced menu to change the search results order, since links in old topics/posts are almost always dead.

This isn't exactly an answer to your question, but in your account settings under "Preferences" you can set your search options to Most Recent in case you tend to use the feature most often.

This is a good suggestion, thank you. It will definitely help with my case, but I would like to keep this thread up for consideration for easy switching between two modes.
There's also a possible suggestion to add an "Order by" switch to the search results page; it's currently barebones with only search results, but this probably is a separate suggestion thread.
