Hello, we once posted here many years ago, and we are now going to post an updated list. This will be an appreciation thread for high-level edited MADs, most being MADs that were involved in video editing competitions. MADs that use visual novels as source material don't get much attention, that is why we decided to put together a list of highly recommended MADs for visual novel fans. These MADs can both help you relive the emotions of visual novels you've already completed, or lowkey get you into picking up new visual novels for your backlog.

TL;DR this list is to raise prestige for MAD editors, but also a roundabout scheme to promote many visual novels and flagships from many different developers with developers as the focus.

Note 1: Most links are shared on YouTube by the maplexman team from bilibili, nicovideo, and other web portals of editing competitions.

Note 2: Visual novels that are tagged [English] are considered available or to-be-released in English. All visual novel titles are ordered by oldest release date from the top under their respective developers/brands.

Note 3: A few review videos from Amelie Doree and August Hail were slipped into the list. If you catch sight of their name, try to hear them out in their analysis videos to see if they get you interested in particular visual novels.

Note 4: MADs that use untranslated visual novels are listed at the bottom of the list under the "UNTRANSLATED" heading (in PART 3).
