I keep getting the following error almost immediately after launching into a new game (I get through about three lines of text before the game crashes; used to get no lines of text prior to the patch):

It lets me create an error log file, then crash closes. In the crash file it gives me the following additional information:

例外エラーがスレッド 00000C48H で発生しました。
例外エラーコード：C0000005H
例外エラーの種類：ページアクセス例外

When I look up this error code (C0000005H) in Google I get the following (AI) explanation:

The C0000005h error is an access violation, which means a program tried to access memory it didn't have permission for. To fix this, common solutions include updating graphics drivers and Windows, verifying game files, disabling overclocks, and adjusting in-game graphics settings like DLSS. For specific applications, trying compatibility settings or adding an exception in Windows' exploit protection may also work.

I've tried several troubleshooting paths for this but nothing seems to work. Any idea of what the issue might be and how to fix it?

Oof. The problem is that torrent files is package version.
But not in .iso version, so we can't even use .exe patch file to install the patch right :( Installer ask for installed version of the game, of course.

Yeah, game doesn't save settings most likely because it doesn't installed right (it comes as plain folder DL files, but it's not actually DL version).

v1.00 in main menu is package version, because DL version has v1.01 by default.
Let's hope someone will share .iso version soon ;(
Or normal DL edition...

For some reason, the saved settings file and the loaded settings file are different.
The changed system settings are saved in AppData\Roaming\ま～まれぇど\バカップル・サプリメントDL", but the system settings loaded by the game are in sysenv.dat directly under the extracted folder. As a temporary solution, you can reflect the settings by overwriting the file.

Deleting the sysenv.dat in the same location as bakaple.exe now loads the correct setting.

According to some users, patch 1.01 is actually broken, so don't use it now (play on 1.00) and wait for fix.

Well, seems like this version is actually DL version, but already patched initially, and v.1.00 in main menu actually means v.1.01... insane.
So, pls, don't use v.1.01 patch anyway, v.1.00 is OK, as I can see.

UPD2. There will be v.1.02 patch from devs, fixing various bugs with fullscreen etc.
