Thank you that worked! I always had my system locale set as Japanese but not sure why it's not working for this.

sorry, just want to add. the windows8 compability is no needed (I use windows10), and some kaguya's vn still need locale emulator to run even if you set japanese system locale (idk why but it is). if not, when you run the exe file it is like the game have no respond/nothing happen.
