Its with great pleasure that I present to you a new kind of release that I will share with you all from now on.
It's been some months that I'm tinkering to try to find a smooth and scriptable way to translate chinese audio works into english and I think I found a comfortable solution that give usable result.
For those who are interested I managed to use a locally hosted LLM to translate "semi autonomously" the .vtt chinese file into english. I choose to use a self hosted solution to not be forced to pay monthly services like DeepL :P
Those releases will be marked as MTL (Machine Translation) given the fact that I cannot make any correction by my side, given the fact that I don't speak fluently Japanase and I know nothing about chinese. Also Im not "smoothing up" the result, because it would be too time consuming by my side, I use the raw result that my scripts and LLM produce.
I have to make a huge warning, the result is far from perfect, you will not find the same precision and accuracy that you will find in an official English translation. My goal here was to make all of those works that are not translated in english (but only in chinese due to the need of the substitle file) usable for the english speaking audiance.
In those releases you will find a lot of strange phrases, the LLM tend to choose a lot the wrong possessive adjetive, so sometimes you will find some "my dick" said from a girl (and not in a futanari work). Also its favorite allucination is to write the chinese word to then write the meaning in brackets. Fortunatelly for the last case happen not so often.
Given those warnings I suggest you to try those releases and see if you are confortable with them. I suggest them for the ones who know well english.
After all of this warnings I wanted also to note that given the fact that the process is not immediate I cannot take request on works to translate in english, given also how big is the chinese audio works world, but I tought for a good compromise for the community. If you want to share with me (and the community of course) some english works that you have but are not already available in this site, you can DM me, and as a token of appreciacion I will translate a chinese work of choice already present here. Obsiously this thing IS retroactive, so the people that already shared with me their work can freely DM me to ask for a specific translation ^^
All said I just wanted to thank Ryzen111 as always for beeing not only the GOAT english uploader, but also the only uploader who upload chinese works!
