No I know you tested it. But I'm trying to get it to run on Linux. And it's doing something funky. I keep getting the message saying "insert orignal disk". The game the game launches but the message box with the warrning will not close and kind of interferes wtih the graphics rendering. I went back and tested this on windows 10 and the "insert original disk" pops up pops up before the game loads, the game then tries to enter the splash screen that happens before entering the menu but the abruptly crashes. So it's broken on windows 10. Checked out the crack's meta data and I don't know why but the meta data for the crack is showing it for aneimo 2h fan disk. I wonder if I caused a corrupt donwload or something. Also somehow all my save data got wiped. I had to reapply a crack for the game because I had this saved on a hard drive when it was on a windows 7 box. and moved to windows 10. But since october I moved the hard drive over to a Fedoa KDE plasmas machine and the game wasn't working with the old crack so I tried the crack in this thread (couldn't find the original crack I used 15 years ago). Figured I could bipass it asking me to do a reinstall. And as you see I have all these issues. I really don't want to do a reinstall because then I'll completely wipe any trace of any save data I had that could be recoverable. (this game is long and I don't feel like playing it from scratch). I just thought I should let you know what I found out, how for some reason the crack is acting funky. I wonder if it's because I also have the Aneimo2 imo imo fandisk game installed and the Aneimo2 motto 2h game installed as well? I'll continue to work on it and get back to you. I am a bit sad I lost all my save data. :( By the way I should mention that I tried running this through both Bottles and through steam using Steam as a launcher. Bottles is buggy so I mostly try to run through Steam as a launcher. I haven't bothered with Lutris. Seems too much of a hassle when Steam does the same thing as Lutris but it has more robust proton patches. (Plesae note that GE-Proton version 10 and steams built in proton version 10 and above will not render Japanese fonts correctly and mostlikely won't even attempt to launch the game).
