You need to use Locale Emulator if you aren't already, and after installing it, open the game via LE but on right clicking choose the "modify application profile" option. In the new window check "fake system UI language", leaving all other options the same and then click save. This will fix the text.

Two notes:

For recent Windows 10 builds, it seems this no longer saves the settings properly, and its required to repeat the above process every session instead of just being able to pick the "run in japanese" option from then on. It still works this way though in the meantime till an LE update hopeful fixes this workaround necessity.

Also if using Textractor, you always need to open the game via LE first then attach the game to Textractor. Launching the game via Textractor will still result in garbage text.

I used LE like the post above but still got trash text. It's strange that in game when I click right mouse to hide the text then click left mouse to show it again the texts become normal but it happens again with next lines. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you sure you have Use Fake UI Language checked and saved in the Modify Application window?

Yes somehow I tried Use Fake UI Language on my friend's PC with Win 10 and it worked fine, but mine is Win7 Professional and it seemed not working. Maybe this Use Fake UI Language option doesn't work on Win 7 Professional. Do you have any ideas to have it works on Win 7 too?

Pretty sure it should work with Windows 7. Maybe you could try using an older version and see if that works? Older builds are still available on the github page.

I think I know the reason after trying lot of stuff. Win 7 professional doesn't support "Display Language UI function" which might be used by "Fake UI language" of LE, so it doesn't work on games requiring this feature. The only way is to update to Win 7 Ultimate which I don't desire at all. Guess I have to pass on this one.

The trial works with LE v2.4.1.0 when started via https://github.com/Svintooo/LEShortcutCreator and although I do have Win7 Ultimate, I'm pretty sure the game will work fine under Japanese WinXP in a virtual machine.

Yes I'm sure any Win has "Display Language" option in "Region and Language" can run the game fine with LE. Sadly only Win 7 Professional doesn't support that so "Fake Language UI" of LE doesn't work. I'm still looking for another way to make it works but it seemed impossible so far.

let me give you all my save on that game, maybe the individual save i made link to the global save. if that doesn't work, than just use the walkthrough i mentioned and it should unlock all cg. for game to work again you will have to delete or replace the save files again.
