Did you try to install some video codec like "K-lite mega" ?
I'm using that new crack, and the BGM is working fine.

If it still not work, then here's the old crack from 2djgame.

The game surely works if used by any of these cracks, however, the BGM gets disabled in-game. Any fix for this? Downloading the latest codec doesn't seem to work.

Yep! The old crack is not compatible with the new update that windows 10 had. So yeah, you either look for a crack that works or download the whole package that includes all of the Fandiscs like what Raspberry recommended.

I'm having the same issue. Old Crack is Fubar on windows 10, new crack doesn't have music. However, I downloaded the whole package with all the fandiscs and it's the same issue with both, still no BGM. No idea what's even causing it.

at this point I might just buy majikoi A-5 off of dmm or dlsite. It just seems easier than relying on a crack that doesn't work.
