So I keep trying to install this, I've tried the patch and everything but I keep getting this same message when I try to play the game after install "Script exception raised. Cannot convert given narrow string to wide string" What does that mean and how do I fix it?

I got the same error for the trial version, and moving the game folder to a different drive fixed it.

I have a different problem though.
The CGs are pixelated, most noticeably on the CG selection screen but everywhere else as well.
Anyone else run into this issue or know how to fix it?
