Oops... This game uses the newer Kirikiri Z game engine instead of the common Kirikiri 2's one, so currently there's no tool out there that can unpack those xp3 files...?

Nope... I dunno why your installation won't finish (mine was done successfully, including the installation of the update patch), but what I said (about grabbing files from those xp3 archives) is probably unrelated to that...

For some reason, a *.dmp file (some sort of dump file (?) slightly more than 11MB each) will be created in the .\savedata subfolder everytime when the game is run, eating up your hard disk space gradually...

And it seems that removing them doesn't affect the save states of the game.
