Well... I think you've missed the point, I only asked whether the game runs correctly on real XP
Using the same vmware (and vmtools) version, it ran fine on win7 but didn't on winxp, so I wondered if it was using some specific win7 apis

im trying to install but I keep on getting a message on a error with CHIP1 it keeps on saying ignore, abort, or retry does anyone know how to solve this?
Will this work I ignore first, then I open the discs file then drag the CHIP1 file into the installed folder

I changed local language and time zone to Japanese. then install Japanese language pack and change the entire windows language to Japanese but still unable to show the game text properly. also there are no "tachie" and game freezes after skipping some texts.
I even downloaded the 800mb trial version from official site. it had the same problem .

I plan to install a japanese version of windows if it helps. guy please help me.

play hana route first, it gives a better understanding to the complicated relationships between characters. I ctrl a lot though, so if this advise happen to be incorrect due to missed critical plots, don't slap me over it.

try change your 'date, time and unit format' into japanese, that's likely where your problem lies

Actually, Hana route explains the full details of the situation surrounding Sakurasaki Hajime complex situation. With that said, if you play it normally you might end up like me who pick these things even before mid way point of the entire visual novel. Also the blood relationships of his encounters can be found on Nanase route as well.

Turn off Aero if you're playing this on your Laptop for Window 7. This game was made based on the minimum specifications of the cheapest computer around the budget of 400 USD. And really, they already have it on their specification so please have a look at the page to make sure you meet the minimum requirements to run the program. Never ever said it will run perfectly on those specifications though.

there's notice in japanese about kernel and else, anybody know why?

It's kisaragi shuuji from Koisuru Otome to Shugo no Tate made by AXL. It's a guy crossdress as a woman to protect some ojousama.

Hana is the sister of the protag : Hajime. There 4 more heroines : Nanami the ojousama which Hajime is the butler. Otoha, she is a Idol. Shiaya, an another ojousama who fell in love with Hajime. And finally Touka, she is her friend. Her dad is Hajime master in martial Art.
