In the third episode of "Itsuka, Hero" titled "Unsung Heroes," Akayama (Kenta Kiritani) and his former student Nonomura (Yuki Inoue) start living together and decide to track down another ex-student, Rusō (Ryosuke Sota). Rusō had once dreamed of becoming a successful businessman and seemed to have achieved it, working for a top-tier company and posting lively party photos on social media. However, his reality is far darker, as the company is a brutal black corporation where he faces overwhelming pressure and stress. Unaware of Rusō's struggles, Akayama and Nonomura visit his office, only to face rejection at reception. They eventually reunite with Rusō, but their moment is disrupted by a mysterious middle-aged man charging at them with a knife. Meanwhile, Nishigōri (Yuka Udō) is investigating someone she refers to as a "killer," adding a layer of suspense to the story.
