A father (Issey Ogata) and daughter (Mai Fukagawa) visit the Hokkaido Museum of Art in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, to see the exhibition "The World of Fujito Takeyoshi."
While looking at the wooden bear carvings created by Fujito Takeyoshi, one of Hokkaido's leading woodcarvers, the two exchange casual conversations and gradually develop a relationship.
Amidst all this, something strange happens to the daughter's body...?
