Neurosurgeon Miyabi Kawauchi (Hana Sugisaki) loses all her memories of the past two years due to an unexpected accident, and her new memories only last for one day. Every morning, she begins her day by reading her diary and refreshing her memories. She is currently working as a nursing assistant while receiving treatment from Koichi Osako (Arata Iura), a professor of neurosurgery. One day, Tomoharu Sanpei (Tatsuya Wakaba), a neurosurgeon who returned from the United States, takes up his post. On that day, actress Rena Akamine was brought in with an emergency and was immediately treated. Sanpei instructs Miyabi to help as well, but her head nurse, Reiko Tsubata (Michiko Kichise), stops her. Rena is barely able to speak and she is diagnosed with aphasia, and as she faces a hopeless situation as an actress, Miyabi struggles with her inability to do anything.
