Of course I have direct x installed, So far this is the only game that has given me this error... That and there
was no direct x folder inside the dvd iso itslef...

that seems to be windows problem or a bug when you installed the game
try restarting windows and uninstall it
if it doesn't work see if there is system restore before you installed the game

Already did that, And I'm to lazy to do a restore just because of one game... Just gonna dump the
CG's with xp3dumper and ditch the ISO...

you can still copy files from the iso and place it in a folder and launch game from there

That's what I tried next, Looks like a bug with the game itself. I have a lot more games running
on the same engine as this one and they run fine.

It's just this particular game that's getting buggy...

EDIT:
Stupid problem solved, Turns out this and many other games wouldn't work if I had my speakers
unplugged (I lent them to my sister), Plugged them back in and the error went away...

I mean... What's the problem if you don't have speakers!?

don't you use headphones,speakers with this type of game your sister and family will be shocked.

Then a few hours later my mom (didn't knew she returned early) shouted from the lounge;
