I enjoy mini-games when they're fun and optional because after reading for a long time, it's nice to take a little break. But if they're required, repetitive, or have too much impact on route endings, I'd rather skip them... After all, the story and characters are what I play otome games for.

If the protagonist already has an established identity or personality, i usually use the canon name

Most of the time, I try to finish all the routes and main endings

I usually set the text speed to instant. And if there's a font option, I'll pick one that I like and is easy to read. I pretty much lower the character voices unless they're too shrill...
