It didn't change that much. I still find myself gushing over the same LI archetype I've loved since I was like 12 lmao. My taste in LIs just broadened, I guess? I've grown to love some tropes that younger me wouldn't find attractive at all.

I care more about the LI's design than the heroine. That's like the one of the main selling points to me. Maybe because I'm kinda used to a heroine with no definite physical appearance as I've been playing a lot of indie games with that kind of MC atm. So, the MC's design is not an issue...

Depends on how long the game is and how motivated I am. I can go from finishing within the day to a full week. Usually, if the game has more than 3 LIs, it can take me a week to finish it.

I like them, but, I agree with some comments here about how repetitive it can be as you progress. What I dislike is sometimes the raising stats aspect takes a long time to do and the actual content or romance time with the LIs is so short.

Sometimes when I'm playing for hours and just want to lay down. Better, if there's voice acting, it's like watching an anime but it's interactive.

Probably one of those Shall We Date or Voltage mobile otome games. The only device I had that time was my mom's phone and I remember how I always want to borrow her phone every day because my story ticket finally restored then I'd get irritated for how short the chapter was. Good old times really.

Yandere, if there's none, I usually go for LIs with specific qualities like long haired (lol), androgynous, devoted, cocky, seductive, manipulative, kuudere, himbo, and humorous types. Ngl, the list goes on, tho those are the main types I often enjoy.

Very rare, the impact isn't the same anymore if I replay the whole game or route. The urge and thrill to uncover the whole plot and the relationships of the characters are basically my main motivation to complete them. I only replay specific intense/romantic scenes occasionally for the feels.

I generally don't like it, but can bear with it if there is a development with the LI where they'll begin to see and love the MC as their own person and not a rebound. Love the angst sometimes lol it's fun yet gut wretching to read the emotional scenes that come with this trope.

If I'm really invested with the plot, i don't mind playing forced routes. Though I do agree that it's such a pain to go through all that when you're not interested in some LIs routes

Nope, I usually avoid romancing LIs like this. Idk it makes me feel weird, worse when you can tell there's still some affection between them. Like the MC is the second choice and is just getting in the way of their love story.
