One feature I didn't know about but definitely need now in other games is the ability to save dialogues in a special section. I discovered this feature in the Switch port of Hashihime of the Old Book Town. I could mark dialogues in the backlog as favorites and listen to them later. 10/10.

I wouldn't say it's worse, but I definitely think otome games in general have gotten stuck in a rut when it comes to gameplay mechanics. We have the traditional visual novel/time-management/gacha RPG, but... what else?
