  1. YANDERE MASTERLIST

I'll give them a chance!!! Thank you so much for your recommendation
  2. YANDERE MASTERLIST

Yes, I'm open to anything! So far, I've only played slow damage, but I'm really interested in adding yandere guys from the bl
  3. Yandere Games on itch

I also left Itch, even as a yandere fan. Honestly, I find the storylines way too edgy, and they're cringeworthy to read. Even for me, it's too much because I keep seeing the same character with a different design every time.
  4. Do you self-insert while playing otomes?

Honestly, I don't really like it. I like to immerse myself in the protagonist and see things from her perspective.
  5. Are there any Otome Li that you love the character but couldn't get into the plot?

Yanagi from Collar x Mallice. I wish I liked it because I definitely get why it's great, but I don't know—it just doesn't quite hit the spot for me.
  6. When did you start playing otome games?

I think I was 13. *My Candy Love* (*Amour Sucre*) was really popular in my country, but since it was so expensive, I never actually played it. I really got into otomes with Cancel a Format when I was about 14.
  7. Are there any routes that you consider difficult to unlock?

Personally, I had trouble unlocking Toranosuke in Clock Zero; his timer and my limited Japanese made it take me a while to figure out how to
  8. Are there any routes that made you cry while playing?

Ayakashi Gohan made me cry on almost every route
  9. How do you feel when Western localizers don't keep Japanese honorifics (like -sama, -chan, -kun)?

Hmm, I feel like some of the context is getting lost. Personally, I hate it when they translate any variation of "nii" or 'nee' as "big sis" or "big bro" because it confuses a lot of people. In various fandoms, I've seen people assume that two characters are siblings or related because of that—help!
  10. Tragic or Happy Ends in Otome—Which Team Are You On?

I love bad endings as long as they're not generic and make sense in the context of the character. Like, I really hate it when something super random happens out of nowhere (like Ash in Banana Fish) or when you make a super irrelevant decision and the character ends up dying or stuff like that...
  11. Anyone else really like long hair LIs?

Beniyuri from Psychedelica and Nadeshiko from Clock Zero are both so pretty ahhhh
  12. Itch.io otome games: pre-release demo or fully released game?

OMG, I tried Invite Me too, and I was excited about the concept. Too bad it took so long. Even though I can understand the creators, I'm a little disappointed by the lack of commitment, especially when money is involved.
  13. Do you use the in-game dictionary when playing otome games? If so, how often?

I will use it if the concept of some things is complicated or very Japanese.
  14. Itch.io otome games: pre-release demo or fully released game?

Since Sunny Day Jack, I no longer feel like playing demos. I don't want to fall in love with something that isn't guaranteed to be released. I think the demo should be released when most of the development is already complete.
  15. Your favorite itch.io otome games at the moment?

I like Dead Wishes, I stopped looking for games there after Sunny Day Jack. The disappointment I felt toward the creator and his irresponsibility discouraged me.
  16. Does anyone else get annoyed when your choices don't actually matter?

Personally, I am very disappointed if the bad endings are generic, if there is no CCG, or if the endings are very similar to each other. I like drama and tension and seeing how your decisions really affect the outcome. I have enjoyed things by reminding myself that I am only going to read, like...
  17. YANDERE MASTERLIST

I finished your route and you were right. It was a very heavy read. 100% sadistic type. Thanks for the recommendation.
  18. What route from a game do you think is perfect from start to finish?

Ozma Kaize made me feel things I had never felt before.
  19. Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

If it adds something, I usually read everything (especially in games that have a lot of value in terms of plot), but if it's skippable, boring, or just a regular dating game, I commit the sin of skipping it. It would have to be a very tortuous and horrible route for me to do that.
  20. Which character's voice do you like best in otome games?

My top voices are: 1. Tetsuya Kakkihara 2. Horie Shun 3. Hiro Shimono 4. Noriaki Sugiyama. I prefer airy voices to deep ones.
