I think as long as the story is interesting and the art is beautiful, chatroom style game is still okay. Although it needs other interactive feature so it won't be boring
I like both novel and manga. While manga have beautiful art and Compact plot, novel offers more freedom for imagination and world building details. I prefer to switch which one I read today based on my mood.
Actually, seeing the anime adaptation is nice. However, some of the adaptation I watched don't really live up to expectation. So, it will be good if the production studio do a really good job to adapt it into nice anime.
