No idea brother, it does sound a lot like locale tho, or at least having the correct language package installed. I cannot give you a solution but I'll give you the perspective that for me it runs normally, using jp locale, so your case doesn't sound normal.

No idea but since this game runs with Unity and if you're willing to try stuff, try getting an updated version of Visual C++ for your system, and also try stopping your antivirus for a few minutes and unpack the game with the crack and then run the exe.
