It really depends on how they're written! I love when a grand finale ties everything together and gives the story a satisfying conclusion, but I don't like it when it makes the previous routes feel pointless.

I enjoy both, honestly! The setting isn't that important to me as long as the story and characters are interesting. But for some reason, I do feel like fantasy otome tend to have more interesting stories than everyday ones. I don't know if it's just harder to write an engaging everyday romance...

Besides otome and BL, I mostly play RPGs and farming/life sim games! 😂 For example, I really like Persona 5 and Stardew Valley. Right now I'm playing Graveyard Keeper 2 and I'm completely hooked! 😂

I haven't really tried progressing through multiple routes at once! 😂 I usually prefer to focus on one route at a time and get fully immersed in that character's story before moving on to the next one.

I don't think any character has actually scared me, but Mejojo and Auger from Black Wolves Saga are probably the only ones who made me think, "These guys are seriously messed up in the head." 😂

If we're talking specifically about otome, I'd say the MC's personality is probably the biggest thing for me. Or if the game has a really good or interesting story, that can definitely make me want to play it too.

The one who abandons the world for you. 😂 There's just something about a character saying "screw the world, I'm choosing you" that's incredibly romantic to me ❤️

I think I'd pick tragic endings, especially when they fit the story well. I love emotional damage when it's actually well written. 😂

Definitely a short common route and longer character routes! I much prefer getting to the actual character's story sooner, and I'd rather have more time with each LI and their individual route.

Probably an LI who's constantly arrogant or talks down to the MC. 😭 I can enjoy confident or difficult characters, but if he's always treating her like she's stupid or beneath him, I lose interest pretty quickly.

Not really, at least not very often. 😂 It's pretty rare for a game to catch my attention enough from the beginning that I get serious FOMO about it. But when I find an otome I'm really, really excited about, then seeing everyone else play it and talk about it can definitely make me want to play...

Morally grey MCs are probably the most interesting to me! I like protagonists who don't always make the "right" choice and have their own motivations, even when I don't completely agree with them. It can make the story much more interesting!

I'm torn between pink and red, but I think I'd go with Red in the end. 😂 Getting to live in my favourite otome world sounds amazing, but having my favorite LI fall in love with me in real life is just too tempting to pass up!

Probably Code: Realize. 😭 I went into it with really high expectations because I'd read so many good things about the game, especially about Cardia as a protagonist. I was expecting to love it, so I think that made the disappointment even bigger when it just didn't click with me the way I hoped. 😢

Probably the extremely stoic type. I can enjoy quiet or reserved characters, but if they're too emotionally distant for most of the game, I tend to lose interest. I need to see a bit more of their personality and emotions!

Probably cute and innocent LIs! 🥹 I also have a big soft spot for tsunderes, especially when they slowly become more open with the MC!

I almost always prefer the MC to be the bottom ❤️ It's actually something that can make me less interested in a BL if the MC is exclusively the top. I can't really explain why, but I just enjoy the dynamic more when the MC is the bottom and the LIs are the tops. 😂

I usually follow a guide and do the good ending first! 😂 It just feels more natural to me, like I'm getting the proper continuation of the route first. Then I go back and do all the bad endings afterwards.
