  1. Do you play otome or BL games with music?

I listen to game soundtracks, and I really love them. But when I'm actually playing a game, I usually turn the background music down quite a bit and keep the voice volume high. I don't want to miss any of the voice acting. ♪(┌・。・)┌
  2. Who else miss the old/veteran seiyuus in otome games ?

Yes, definitely. Sometimes I miss some of the older voice actors when I replay games or listen to drama CDs. Recently, I went back and listened to some game CDs again, and I found myself thinking, "Ahh, their voices are so charming." I don't see them in as many works as before, which makes me...
  3. Fellow Drama CD fans: Do you listen to the cast talks?

I like listening to the free talk sections on BL and otome drama CDs. The voice actors sound very friendly and approachable when they talk. You can really tell how much effort and passion they put into their work. Their conversations are usually very relaxed, and sometimes they're really funny...
  4. What are your favorite otome game/anime openings?

My number one favorite would probably be the songs from Hakuoki. I've listened to the music from almost every game in the series. There are also songs from other games that I really like, such as Sympathy Kiss, Tengoku Struggle -Strayside-, and 9 R.I.P. There are probably more, but I can't...
  5. Do you prefer softer/realistic romances or intense ones?

I think I prefer stories that are more intense. I really enjoy things that are exciting and thrilling. That said, gentle and sweet romance is nice too. I think it's very relaxing. It really depends on my mood and the situation. (ᵔᴥᵔ)
  6. What will you choose: 2D or 3D graphics in otome?

I play 2D games more often, so I naturally prefer them over 3D games. Hmm... I think 3D games are interesting too, but sometimes the character models can look a little strange, or there might be some funny bugs. I don't really mind, though. I like both styles, but I definitely prefer 2D games...
  7. Do you prefer otome game with gameplay element or just text reading element only?

I enjoy visual novels, but I'd also like more games to have RPG elements. Even though my computer has pretty low specs, I'd still love to play them. I play all kinds of games, but most of the ones I play are story-focused visual novels. I don't come across many RPG-style games very often. (...
  8. Self-Inserting and Heroine Voices in Otome Games

I usually put myself into the game too, so I change the name to my own. I don’t really mind whether the voice acting is on or off though — I can enjoy it either way. But most of the time, I end up turning the voices off hahaha. It kind of depends on my mood in that moment.
  9. Opinions on spoilers

Honestly, I really don’t like spoilers, especially for games. I don’t even want to see CGs anywhere because once I see them, it kind of ruins the excitement for me. It makes the experience feel a little less thrilling. I also try really hard not to spoil anyone else when I play games. I do talk...

I really like the atmosphere in games like 9 R.I.P. I love mysterious vibes because they make me curious and keep me wanting to continue playing. I’d love more games with that kind of atmosphere. I’m really into detective, mystery, and slightly creepy themes.
  11. Do you like Minigames or Puzzles in your VNs?

I like minigames, honestly... some games have really cute chibi character minigames, and some have puzzle ones with timers. I’m not very good at those, but I usually look up help hahaha, especially if I really can’t solve the puzzle (*´ω`*)

  13. If you could write a script for a Doujin CD or Otome CD, what could be?

Oh, yeah. Honestly, I’ve kind of gotten bored with the repetitive storylines too. But because I really like the CVs’ voices, I still listen to and buy the CDs anyway. I totally understand your personal taste though — I like that kind of thing too. I’m really into mitsuhashi as well, and...
  14. If you could write a script for a Doujin CD or Otome CD, what could be?

You have a really interesting dream. I've actually wondered what it would be like if I tried writing a doujin plot myself. I'm a big fan of drama CDs too. Once I started listening to them, I realized they can be fun, exciting, and surprisingly comforting at the same time. I especially enjoy...

  16. How many LIs are too many?

The games I play usually have around 6 or 7 love interests each, and since I'm playing several games at the same time, it can be difficult and take a long time for me to finish even one game. Umm... but that's okay. I think having a lot of characters is nice too. (≧▽≦)

  19. Do VAs influence you to start an Otome?

Voice actors are important to me too. I usually check a game's cover first, then read the synopsis, look at the characters I'm interested in, and see who voices them. And of course, I have my favorite voice actors: Suzuki Ryouta, Azakami Youhei, Okamoto Nobuhiko, Hosoya Yoshimasa, Takatsuka...
