The ones who are all soft and clingy most of the time, then suddenly switch up with that "my turn" look in their eyes… yeah, that gap moe hits different. Absolute favorite.
I like MCs who have a clear personality, but only if I can relate to their thoughts and values.
If the protagonist has opinions or reactions I can't empathize with, it completely breaks my immersion. A well-written personality is great, but it has to feel natural for me to stay invested.
I play these games for the romance and emotional payoff, so happy endings feel the most satisfying. Well-written bad endings can be interesting and impactful, but I usually save them for after I've already gotten the happy one.
I like both male and female singers, but it really depends on the game!
As long as the song is good and fits the atmosphere, I'm happy with anything. The lyrics matching the vibe is the most important thing for me.
I like both Otome and BL!
Otome is perfect for self-insert romance, but I also want to try more BL games that feel similar to otome — with strong romance focus, good character development, and that sweet/cute vibe.
I'm firmly on the self-insert / own name side!
Using the canon name makes me feel distant from the character and harder to immerse. I always change it to my own name whenever possible.
I usually finish about 3 to 5 games per year.
Short games or ones I really get into go pretty quickly, but long titles or games with multiple endings can easily take me 1 to 2 months each…
Lately my backlog has gotten way too big, so my pace has slowed down a lot.
I'm not really the type who replays games a lot. Once I finish a game and enjoy it fully, I usually move on to the next one.
That said, if it's a game I really loved, I sometimes come back to it after a few years and replay it.
I like Bottom MC the most. It's much easier for me to relate to the protagonist and fall in love with him when he's on the receiving end.
I'd love to hear about the protagonist characters you guys really fell for!
I've never played any PIL/SLASH games before, but I've been really interested in them lately. Paradise especially caught my attention.
I already played Lamento and was blown away by how massive it was. It was really enjoyable and it's now one of my favorite BL games.
Hi everyone!
Just completed my profile and looking forward to joining the Otome community. I'll try to reupload files when I can and participate more.
Nice to meet you all~ ✨
I like the characters and the worldbuilding, but I don't think the gameplay is very fun. The events also haven't been updated recently.
I can't really recommend it overall, but if there's a character you're interested in, it might still be worth trying.
