I just think that then that's not an otome game anymore. It'd be just a romance game and that's okay. Otome isn't a label that should be pasted on anything even remotely related to romance. Let's not treat it as a buzzword...
I don't think the music is the issue for me, it'd say it's rather bad sound design or mad mixing (be it for general ambient sounds that loop weirdly or that of the voices where they all seem to be set at different volumes)
Yeah, it's one of the reasons I don't play these kinds of games. If I pay for something I want to know I own it. And I also like the stories I read to have a proper ending, otherwise the overall journey ends up feeling kinda aimless to me.
Ignore the FOMO, I'd say it's better to be PC only for these games but that's just my opinion as a working adult who has limited time for gaming nowadays. The expense doesn't feel justifiable especially when I already have a normal switch and I don't plan on getting the switch 2.

Miscommunication is a complete no-no for me. The most interesting games for me are the ones where the characters actually dare to speak to each other about their issues.
I'm not particularly a VA fan, but even I start to notice the same voices being repeated and it's hard to fully immerse myself in the story when the voices remind me of other characters. Actually, I would also like to hear more distinct voices from newer people in the industry.
It's very bad imo and I've seen other people talking about it. But it's still a challenging game to read even for natives because the text quotes famous Japanese authors, so unless you've done some background reading on Japanese classics you'll probably miss some of the extra flavour and...
It's stuff made by women, for women, from a female pov and that's the only kind of media I'm interested in at the moment. It's also a great medium for learning Japanese so that's a plus.
