The attractive 2D characters got me into otome games. I’ve always been into dating simulators; I just never had anywhere to play them on until I was in middle school. :aloprosen:

My taste has definitely expanded as I've grown up. I used to really only go for a set type of character, but now my taste is all over the place. It really just depends on the phase I'm in and how I'm feeling at the time. :full:

I get my favorites' routes first, then return later to get the ones I'm missing when I have free time :p.

Honestly, I find it impossible to finish all the routes because it's so time-consuming and I have so many other games I want to play. I usually return a few weeks later, or whenever I feel like it, to get more routes, though. It takes me months or even a year to fully complete a game.. 😅

I strive to get 100% completion, but after I get 1 or 2 routes, I get impatient and start playing another VN before I can get all routes in the previous game. There are just so many VNs I wanna play!!😭😭😭

I used to self-insert, but I realized my name doesn’t really go well with Japanese last names, so now I use the canon MC name. 😅 Makes things less awkward, and It doesn’t make me feel any less immersed tbh.
