I feel like getting used to a new voice actor is very difficult.... but I haven't encountered that much in otome, except that I heard Luckydog1+bad egg got new voice actors—it was hard for my friends to get used to it, but the seiyuu tried very hard and it turned out well
I use Luna Translator and dictionaries. I've played a lot in this format, so I've already learned many phrases in Japanese, but playing without a screen translator is still difficult.
Have you tried playing Him, the Smile & Bloom? It's quite cute and casual, and I really liked that there are 4 different heroines.
You could also try Dandelion, it has an interesting mechanic.
In Karin Entertainment games, there is a feature that lets you save voice lines, and I think it's super cool because I often find myself wanting to save a bunch of them
