What genre you used to dislike but like them now

I used to be not very fond of modern urban romance games, and I felt that they didn't appeal to me. Since playing Cupid Parasite, I really love it! I have found that I am gradually starting to play games with urban love themes, which are not boring. There are fun works worth playing. Good works should not be constrained by their subject matter.
 
I wouldn't say I necessarily dislike them, but I used to avoid otome games that focused heavily on politics and revolutions. That changed when I played Utakata no Uchronia, which made me realize that these themes can actually be really interesting! As for historical settings, though, I'm still not a fan. I haven't found a game that could change my mind about those yet hehe ♡
 
I used to find slice of life boring when I was young, now I love the simplicity of it, there's something of feeling that the world pauses for you that I find comforting
 
back then, i really didn't want to read slow burn or angst, but now i read them more often lol.
