Do you read manga adaptations of otome games?

OH gash, I vaguely remember that being a thing waaaaaay back in the day. Do they still even do that nowdays? It would be nice but I honestly forgot about that.

i definitely do if my favorite route is the one being depicted, and i'll give it a shot even if not but i still tend to prefer the games to the mangas, so i usually am not as invested in the mangas after playing and enjoying the games more

From anime to original game/manga/novel: Ofc👌
From novel game to manga adaptions: hmm...maybe no

I'd say after playing a game for dozens of hours, some interpretations is fairly set in my mind. So I find it hard to accept alternate storyline in other media, especially when the art style is different.

There was one and only exception, not an otome, and the reason was that the original creator decided to rewrote the ending to make it perfect.

I WANT MORE OF THEM! I used to read them, but I'd prefer maybe if they worked rather as additional content than a rehash of one LI's route or the common route.

I own a lot of the mangas from the Heart no Kuni no Alice series! The art is actually so beautiful and it's nice to see the stories expanded on.

hmm, not really, i'm not a big fan of rereading stories, even if they're shown from a different angle, so i'm not interested in adaptations. though if i really liked the game i might give it a try

I don't like watching/reading adaptations of visual novels as a whole, but even less for otoge compared to other genres

From what I've played, most of the time the true route in otoge is not as different from the other routes in the game, so manga adaptations prefer not to do a single "canon" route and instead do more open ended scenarios for each LI, which is pretty boring to me

Manga adaptations is what got me into Nise no Chigiri ! For some reason I just really enjoyed the manga  but I think most manga adaptations I have read are not that good and are too short compared to the games
