How old are you when you first played Otome game

I was 13! I've played several light VNs before otome but it's male oriented.. I'm trying searching for game that are female oriented and then I discovered mystic messenger and obey me on qooapp (⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠)

I have been playing videogames since I was a little kid, but I only discovered visual novels when I was around 19–21 years old lol. Still, I think it was a good age to discover VNs, because by then my English had gotten better over the years and I could read more easily.

Around 9-10 i think XD started with those ticket system mobile otome games and then moved to pc/switch ones when i got older. Funnily enough, despite the hate it gets, diabolik lovers (the anime) was what really fueled my love for the genre, i didn't even know the games i've been playing were called otome games before XD

i think i was around 14 years old and Amnesia was the one who got me hooked to PC otome. For mobile Otome all NTT Solmare game has been part of my teenage years, especially wizardess heart, lost alice and destiny ninja, sad they all went EOS 😔

I think I was 16 years old, at that age I played my first game because it was the only one that had a Spanish patch, and a few days later I played the +18 one which was Ijiwaru My Master with only 3 routes translated into Spanish as well (the one who translated them quit and didn't finish the other 3 routes that were missing)
 
my older sister was playing an atome game, I knew about it since I was young. I think I'm about 13 years old

I was 12-13 years old i think, playing TMGS 1 English fan patc on NDS with my friends in school....Otome really brought me and my friends together until now

7 years old when i played my first otome game but i didn't know it was otome (Angelique)
But officially when i was 10 years old i didn't know what this kind of games called but i was so obsessed to play ( I started with MCL at that time)
I was so young aaaaaaaa 😭😭😭

I started playing otome games in 2025, I was 18 years old, My first otome was amnesia memories, but honestly I didn't like it, but I continued playing others

Wow! Surprisingly, there are many people who started early. I only got into it late, in my early 20s, and my first game was an adult otome game. It was just the right amount of fun to play. I remember encountering otome games on the PSP much later on.

You're not alone! I've started playing otome games in my early 20s too!
Maybe when I was 21. I don't remember exactly when though.

I was 11. My first otome was "Forbidden Love", an otome with a ticket system. Found it while looking for games on the play store. I got addicted to it so hard that I had to play more games of that kind, even though that first game, now that I think of it, was pretty bad 🤣

I started when I was 13 -15 lol... Man, those shall we date games that were connected to facebook sure is nostalgic. Then I got into some dating sims like pacthesis on deviant art, those are so fun!

around 14-15 I guess? with one very old otome game maybe the same time as Diabolik Lovers 2nd games? I'm not into otome game at first but start my gaming with rpg games like fire emblem, persona 3, final fantasy, okami etc.
