How old are you when you first played Otome game

I was 13! I've played several light VNs before otome but it's male oriented.. I'm trying searching for game that are female oriented and then I discovered mystic messenger and obey me on qooapp (⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠)

I have been playing videogames since I was a little kid, but I only discovered visual novels when I was around 19–21 years old lol. Still, I think it was a good age to discover VNs, because by then my English had gotten better over the years and I could read more easily.

Around 9-10 i think XD started with those ticket system mobile otome games and then moved to pc/switch ones when i got older. Funnily enough, despite the hate it gets, diabolik lovers (the anime) was what really fueled my love for the genre, i didn't even know the games i've been playing were called otome games before XD

i think i was around 14 years old and Amnesia was the one who got me hooked to PC otome. For mobile Otome all NTT Solmare game has been part of my teenage years, especially wizardess heart, lost alice and destiny ninja, sad they all went EOS

I think I was 16 years old, at that age I played my first game because it was the only one that had a Spanish patch, and a few days later I played the +18 one which was Ijiwaru My Master with only 3 routes translated into Spanish as well (the one who translated them quit and didn't finish the other 3 routes that were missing)

Wow! Surprisingly, there are many people who started early. I only got into it late, in my early 20s, and my first game was an adult otome game. It was just the right amount of fun to play. I remember encountering otome games on the PSP much later on.

Maybe when I was 21. I don't remember exactly when though.
