Oh, was it in a good kind of way at least?

Since after they announced it, I was pretty sceptical of the claim when the only promotional comic and basic profile made the mc sound like he's just a 3rd gen of their protagonist types (so my only hope was that it at least meant they stuck to the patient S vibe more than the butlers due to liking the writing for Minagawa & Shibusawa)

Well you're not wrong to assume that the mc is just the same type of mc just like Kanja S or Hadaka... cuz it's true
if you want to compare the writing of ChukiEro to previous work, i think Kasumi is more closely written like Yasuda from Kanja S... which is that kind of Uke who likes their MC and praises them to a fault 🤔
It isn't exactly my cup of tea... i usually more attracted to tsundere/kuudere, or if i want a more wholesome variation, maybe like Haruki from Kanja S

Mistonia's Hope. at first i didn't plan to fall for the mistonia propaganda but i folded lol. summer makes me wanna see fairies. currently finished lucas and moving to linus. seriously lucas took a lot of time to get over... maybe because i heard good things about him and got my hopes up, he felt more boring to me compared to alfred. hopefully linus will live up to the things i saw online 🙏

Well nice to know that in advance then for when I go through it then since my main gripes for Yasuda/Haruki (and most of butlers) was how their protagonists don't really work for me when paired with characters that are mainly written as submissive victims of their hijinks(?) instead of having the much needed friction the situations deserved.
If ChukiEro is mainly more of that dynamic then guess I'll just need to hope the voiceactors still deliver a positive aspect to it...

Ah that's actually perfectly sums up most of the MC & LI dynamic in madalabo games ! submissive victims of the Mc's hijinks 😌👍 And the only outlier is Shibusawa and Minagawa, though Shibusawa i can't really call as LI either... more like sub route (as far as i like him)

If you want to see it from the VA perspective, the VA imo is topnotch ! Fukujun as MC gives a much more gentle and sweet voice than all the previous MC, i myself rarely care about MC voice but when i hear Fukujun as Ryuusei i can't help but swoon 🤤
Hirarin uses a different kind of voice color when he voice Kasumi than Shibusawa, and i guess since he's more accostumed to using this kind of voice as an Uke, He sounded more natural and hot as Kasumi than when he's voicing Shibusawa (i always feels like shibusawa's voice in H scene feels like he's in pain or holding back)
Overall i think if you want to check ChukiEro for the VA you have nothing to lose !
Just lower your expectations on the plot...

Replaying Tokimeki Memorial GS 3 right now, and realizing how much I've missed the series. It brought me so much comfort when I was younger. I didn't use the in-game fashion mechanic at all back then, so actually figuring out how it works now feels like playing a whole new game. Getting a bit overwhelmed just by looking at stat requirements for the guys though lol

Right now I am playing super old and not very well known japanese BL game. Cause the more know ones I have already played a bunch of times.
Right now I am playing jacking and The wind of Rixcall.
They are quite good, they just have some problem with compatibility and the likes.

I started playing the old ones two weeks ago being kinda interested over those old ones and some are really intriguing !

There are some very good ones, but many times they are difficult to find. Still I think some are worth the pain of searching and installing.

i'm currently playing Ooe, and i just want to sell my soul to developers, writers, composers, designers, artist and VAs... Everythig is gorgeous, i love pretty much every aspect of this game, so beautiful
 
On the otome side, I just finished playing Algorithm Prescription's demo and I'm considering starting Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly or the Switch port of Tokimemo GS 1. I'm leaning towards the latter since I haven't played the series yet and I've always been kind of intrigued.

On the BL side, I've been playing Lucky Dog 1 for a month and I've loved what I read so far. I'm a slow reader so it's going to take me a while, but I'm excited to continue and finish the game!
 
I'm currently playing Steam Prison. I've played up to the point where they come back from their first visit to the Depths. My first impression is that it has exactly what I expected and wanted from it: social inequality drama, sword fighting, and a no-bullshit protagonist.
 
currently im trying my best to finish hadaka shitsuji. i find it a little hard these days to read longer works, mostly because my rl has been a little hectic these days which makes me anxious and unable to concentrate T_T... but yea, slow and steady and damn its just as good as i remember it from 8 years ago! lol
in the meantime i also completed eroryman, which i thought was decent enough!

i feel like ive been focusing more on non-otome vns recently.. currently reading some shota nukige i started back in 2019 and never finished for whatever reason. and before that was some weird ass russian denpa title, and before that was a shitty yurige.. im losing my otome points fast fuuuuck:(
