What type of LI's do you go for?

im not exactly sure how to word this but the lis that immediately get me interested are the ones who feel like they dont belong with the mc? maybe the way to phrase it would be someone forbidden? you see a cast of characters and immediately you can tell this one character either feels like they shouldnt be an option or that realistically theyd have the worst chances of ever actually getting together with the heroine and i love that !! lis like that always have strong angst filled stories which bring out intense sides to both the li and the heroine in an obsessive and determined way since they have to try so hard to make their love for each other work ^^

if a game doesnt have someone like that i think i end up going for the li who feels like theyd feel the safest to be with, someone protective who's main priority is the heroine and her happiness - usually lis that have a childhood friend vibe or big brotherly vibe to them fall into this category for me since they value friendships and family the most so theyd know best how to be genuinely caring to a partner ^^
 
I like blushy Tsunderes and usually go for them first cause they feel safe as the first route.
 
I often target characters who appear gentle, refined, or very chivalrous on the outside but whose inner personality is entirely different from their outward appearance.

I like storylines that always have unexpected plot twists, so characters like that usually meet my needs.
 
The type who's aloof or annoyed like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed every morning. Watching them fall in love is quite funny. And the crazies, like yanderes. I like nice guys in real life but in fiction I need need that thrill.

I always end up falling for characters who are gentle, cheerful, and kind of like a loyal puppy — as well as the mysterious, human-hating, red-flag types. And also those who are willing to give up their life for me, or live on for my sake. I long to live together with them — and sometimes, even to die together. The ones who fascinate me the most are Yves and Ankou from Virche.

I am drawn to characters who appear cold and aloof on the outside but are not like that on the inside. I enjoy watching the process of such characters gradually opening their hearts and becoming close.
 
like those who are seductive and fun, but I also really like those who are serious and mysterious.😭🎀
 
When I was younger, it was the tsundere, but now I love himbos, or the big brother type. I still like tsunderes, though!
 
Definitely the stoic types or tsundere types. They always somehow catch my eye.. ୧( ˵ ° ~ ° ˵ )୨
 
Childhood friends/best friends, tsunderes, and funny guys. I also like the type of character who's loud and a bit dumb, but has a heart of gold. In general, it depends on the game.
 
Being biased i usually go for the characters with my fave seiyuu or the tsundere genki type, but it really depends alot on the characters design the seiyuu behind the characters and even the lore and what represents the character, since not being a fan of possessive characters or yanderes in general i surprisingly loved kuroyuki from nightshade even after what he did…
 
My ideal type is Neil from the bl game Shingakkou———seemingly carefree on the surface, but actually thoughtful and considerate, both humorous and caring.
 
Yandere, if there's none, I usually go for LIs with specific qualities like long haired (lol), androgynous, devoted, cocky, seductive, manipulative, kuudere, himbo, and humorous types. Ngl, the list goes on, tho those are the main types I often enjoy.
