Do you read manga adaptations of otome games?

Yes, a few of them introduced me to the games they were adapted from. I enjoyed the Nise no Chigiri manga in particular.

Only If i really loved otome game then i read manga/anime adapations. It's always interesting to see the world from a different angle.

The problem is that it's not super satisfying to read a story that doesn't really choose a love interest? I think most adaptations end up being like that?

Not really since I find them pretty boring since they have no real final route but I've tried to watch the Code:realize anime it was p mediocre even if I liked Cardia having a VA too.

I do not read or watch adaptations from otome games. Playing games and making my own decisions is better. I want to choose my route.

I'm more of a self-inserter, so if the character acts much differently than I would've acted with my choices in the game, then it can seem a bit off. I have looked at a few, but never fully finished any adaptations, playing the games is just better for me.

I read Heart no Kuni no Alice way back then, before I knew it was an otome game. But I generally don't read manga (or even anime) adaptations.

I just prefer having different love interests/endings and being able to get all of them, especially if the story diverges in every route. But at the same time I also don't like how there is never any "final choice" in adaptations.

I read the manga adaptation of Persona: The Phantom of the Opera.
I felt the Phantom route in the game was lacking. I saw information that the manga version supplements the Phantom route.
It was neatly wrapped up and interesting.

You're mixing it up with anime I think? Mangas do the opposite, I'd say 85% of the time at the very least. They choose one LI. Sometimes they give each LI a side story/chapter with a what if, but often they go with the poster boy. If you want to be sure to read something with your fave in it, I recommand anthologies.

As for me I read them from time to time, they're fun and often don't follow strictly the game so it's like more content for fans!

Oh, I thought it'd be like that with mangas too. I've mostly seen anime adaptations so I just assumed manga versions would be like that too.

Well it's easier to make simple chapters or the ship you want compared to anime. Japanese anime usually are linear, so they rarely do things like western shows with episodes that have nothing to do with each other. Bet it'd be confusing if episode 1 she's with one guy and the next with another. This problem isn't present in manga, or at least less present.

I don't really read manga adaption because usually there's lack of English translation and the art style sometimes not to my liking. But there's one manga I love, it's from Heart no Kuni Alice, where the manga focusing on Alice x Boris. Fortunately at that time there's someone who kindly translated all chapters and because of that manga, I'm interested with Heart no Kuni series especially Boris haha. The same artist also create Alice x Tweedle Twins, tho I believe it's not completed yet, unlike the Boris one.

I end up feeling dissatisfied and disappointed so I tend to stay away haha

I do tend to read manga adaptation of otome games that I like but only after one or two years minimu so I can appreciate the adaptation and forget a bit of the story

I hardly ever read them, and honestly, it feels like there aren't that many manga adaptations of otome games out there. Maybe What you see more often are original isekai manga about reincarnating into otome games?

I would read RPG manga adaptation like Persona and stuff but not Otome °

Yesss, several adaptations introduced me to the games directly
One of the most memorable for me (even though it was a loooong time ago) was the Utapri anime
I knew about the rhythm games but had no idea that the first games in the franchise were otome games!! I fell in love with the anime (and the characters lol) and learned about emulators to play them

No, because they always follow the canon route and I don't like the idea that there IS a canon route..

and how are you going to get the bad endings? I also feel like those are a part of the experience.

IMO, might as well read a webtoon or an Isekai manga.
