Virtual Disk for some old games?

Hi I'm trying to figure out how to mount some old games.
There are several games that will only mount in Alcohol 120% but if you try to
mount them in any other program (PowerISO, WinArchiver, WinCDEmu, Virtual CloneDrive)
it will not work.

Can someone explain why is that?

Seems like "too old for Windows 10" to me.

It is not, because it works fine if mounted with Alcohol 120%, I'm trying to figure out what alcohol is doing different than every other virtual drive

Can you show the images of what happens when you open the exact same files with Alcohol 120%?

My guess is it's simply because other tools are incompetent. They don't seem to support some disk image formats fully. While they can identify the contents (filename, size and such), they cannot read those image formats properly. This is evident in your PowerISO pictures where the text is in gibberish and file icon images can't be retrieved, because PowerISO isn't reading the data the way they're supposed to. On the other hand, Alcohol 120% seems to be able to handle everything.

In short, there's nothing wrong with those games. Just avoid those tools and use the ones that work.
