I've recently completed and enjoyed Toshoshitsu no Neversista, it took a second to pick up but it was a wonderful and somewhat depressing game. The final ending was funny and hopeful though, I think it would benefit from a remake or at the very least a voiced cast, but that's just me being nitpicky

What pulls me in is the artwork then the summary and then whether it's voiced and then the language. But what keeps me is the story.
